FAQs

What are The Element Acne Relief Drops and how do they work?

Acne Relief Drops are an Ayurvedic formulation you drink, not apply. Every 1 ml carries a blend of herbal extracts led by Neem (Azadirachta indica, 100 mg), Turmeric (Curcuma longa, 75 mg) and Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus, 60 mg), with Khadira, Manjistha, Giloy, Kanchanara, Aloe and 19+ more. In Ayurveda breakouts are treated as a blood-and-digestion question, not just a surface one — Neem is traditionally used to fight acne bacteria and purify blood, Turmeric to calm inflammation, and Shatavari to support hormonal balance. They are built to run underneath a topical acne routine, not replace it.

How do I take the dropper version?

Take 5–6 drops twice daily, after food. You can take them directly into your mouth or mix them into a glass of water (150–200 ml) — both work. The dropper gives you precise control over the dose, so it is the format to pick if you prefer measuring. Stay consistent: skipped days are the most common reason people do not see a change.

Will these help with hormonal acne?

Shatavari and Ashoka are both in this formula, and both are traditionally used in Ayurveda to support hormonal balance — which is why this blend differs from our Brightening Drops. That said, be clear-eyed about what a supplement can do: it is supportive, not a treatment. If your breakouts are cyclical, along the jaw, and persistent, see a dermatologist or gynaecologist — conditions like PCOS need medical care, and these drops are not a substitute for it.

Should I choose the dropper or the spray?

The formula is identical — only the delivery differs. The dropper is for at-home use with an exact 5–6 drop dose, twice daily after food, taken neat or stirred into water. The spray is for on-the-go: 2–3 sprays directly into your mouth, three times a day after food, with no glass of water needed. Pick the dropper if you take it in the same place each day; pick the spray if you travel, or if the midday dose is the one you keep forgetting.

How long before I see a difference, and is it safe?

Give it 4–8 weeks of consistent daily use alongside your skincare, and expect fewer new breakouts before you notice existing marks fading. This is a supportive Ayurvedic formulation, not a cure for acne, and results vary from person to person. It is made with no artificial sugar, in an ISO and GMP certified facility, and is not tested on animals. Keep out of reach of children, and consult a physician if you are pregnant, lactating, have a chronic health condition, or are on medication. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

About The Element Acne Relief Drops (Dropper) — Ayurvedic acne care from within

The Element Acne Relief Drops are an Ayurvedic formulation you drink, not apply. A blend of herbal extracts led by Neem, Turmeric and Shatavari, with Khadira, Manjistha, Giloy, Kanchanara, Aloe and 19+ more — in a flavoured syrup base with no artificial sugar. This is the dropper format: 5–6 drops twice daily, after food, taken neat or stirred into a glass of water. Made in an ISO and GMP certified facility, Ayurvedic Formulation, not tested on animals. 30 ml / 1 oz.

The problem: breakouts a face wash alone will not settle

Salicylic acid clears the pore. It does not touch the reasons the pore keeps filling — hormonal swings, heat, sluggish digestion, stress, an inflamed system. That is why acne that responds to a face wash on the cheeks often keeps coming back along the jaw and chin. Ayurveda treats breakouts as a blood-and-digestion problem, which is why the classical answer is something you swallow. These drops run underneath your topical routine, not instead of it.

How each hero active works

  • Khadira (Acacia catechu, 125 mg per ml) — the highest-dosed herb in the blend and the classical Ayurvedic choice for skin complaints. Traditionally used to purify and calm reactive skin.
  • Neem (Azadirachta indica, 100 mg per ml) — traditionally used to fight acne bacteria and purify blood. The herb most associated with clear skin in Ayurveda.
  • Turmeric / Haridra (Curcuma longa, 75 mg per ml) — calms inflammation and supports brighter-looking skin. The reason angry, red breakouts are the first thing people report settling.
  • Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus, 60 mg per ml) — traditionally used to support hormonal balance. This, with Ashoka, is what separates this blend from a general skin-clarity formula.
  • Ashoka (Saraca asoca, 75 mg per ml) — a classical women's-health herb, traditionally paired with Shatavari for cycle-linked concerns.
  • Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia, 50 mg per ml) — the blood purifier that works on what breakouts leave behind: the look of post-acne marks and uneven tone.
  • Kanchanara (Bauhinia variegata, 50 mg per ml) — traditionally used for stubborn, deeper lumps under the skin rather than surface whiteheads.
  • Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia, 30 mg) and Aloe / Kumari (Aloe barbadensis, 70 mg) — detoxify, soothe and support immunity while the rest of the blend does the clearing.

The full blend, per 1 ml: Khadira 125 mg, Neem stem bark 100 mg, Punarnava 90 mg, Daruharidra 90 mg, Ashoka 75 mg, Haridra (Turmeric) 75 mg, Chirayata 75 mg, Dadima 70 mg, Kumari (Aloe vera) 70 mg, Amla 60 mg, Shatavari 60 mg, Manjistha 50 mg, Kanchanara 50 mg, Haritaki 50 mg, Bibhitaki 50 mg, Musta 50 mg, Vidanga 50 mg, Yashtimadhu 40 mg, Sariva 40 mg, Giloy 30 mg, Maricha 5 mg, in a flavoured syrup base. See the pack label for the complete list.

How to use (AM / PM)

  • Morning, after breakfast: 5–6 drops directly into your mouth, or stirred into 150–200 ml of water.
  • Evening, after dinner: repeat the same 5–6 drops. Twice daily, always after food.
  • Keep your topical routine going — these drops are designed to sit under a cleanser and treatment serum, not to replace them.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Best before 36 months from the date of manufacturing.

What to expect, week by week

  • Weeks 1–2: nothing visible yet. A supplement cannot show in the mirror this early. Focus on building the habit.
  • Weeks 3–4: the usual first signal is fewer NEW breakouts, and existing ones looking less angry — not old marks disappearing.
  • Weeks 4–8: the window in which post-acne marks and overall clarity tend to shift, with consistent daily use alongside skincare.
  • Beyond 8 weeks: continue as a maintenance habit. Results and timelines vary by individual.

Lesser-known facts

  • How is this different from the Brightening Drops? Different blend, different job. Brightening leads with Manjistha and Amla for pigmentation. This one leads with Neem, Turmeric and Shatavari, and adds Ashoka and Kanchanara — herbs aimed at breakouts and hormonal balance rather than dark spots.
  • Do they contain salicylic acid or niacinamide? No. Those are topical actives and they belong in a serum or face wash, not in something you drink. Pair these with The Element Acne Relief Serum and Face Wash for the full inside-out routine.
  • Why after food? Several botanicals here are strong bitters — Chirayata, Daruharidra, Maricha. Taking them on a full stomach is gentler and is how they are traditionally given.

Who it is for

  • Recurring breakouts that a face wash and serum have not fully settled
  • Cycle-linked or jawline breakouts, alongside — not instead of — medical care
  • Congested, inflamed-looking skin and slow-fading post-acne marks
  • Anyone who wants an Ayurvedic, inside-out layer under an existing acne routine — and prefers a measured dose over a spray

Why choose The Element

  • Named herbs at named doses — milligrams printed on the pack, not a vague proprietary blend
  • No artificial sugar
  • ISO and GMP certified manufacturing; Ayurvedic Formulation; not tested on animals
  • Honest about what it is — support for a full acne routine, never a claim to cure acne
